Hello, everyone!
It's after 11 on Saturday night, but I just wanted to send a quick hello from the Magic before we hit the hay. It has been an excellent trip so far. We donned our lime green shirts and looked for other DISers at the sailaway. We didn't see anyone, so we headed back to the stateroom to watch the ship leave from our verandah. We're in good old 5650, although it's strange because the stateroom art and comforter pattern are different and the couch is red instead of blue. It's sort of like comparing Disney World to Disneyland.
That delicious mango soup is still on the embarkation buffet. We ate in Lumieres tonight, and hubby was excited because they have the vegetarian vegetable stack (it's no longer on the Wonder). It is slightly different, but he still pronounced it delicious. Our server is Sasha from Croatia, so it's very easy for me to remember his name, since it's the same as our buddy from the Wonder. He brought us multiple desserts to sample, and they were all DELICIOUS!!! I'd better get on that treadmill tomorrow.
Tony had a seaweed wrap and I had a massage...the spa is the best way to kick off the cruise. They have a new treatment that I am trying later in the week, so I will give a full report. Just like the Wonder, they have been diligent so far in enforcing the sanctity of the adult pool. We spend a relaxing hour in the whirlpool over there before the safety drill. The seas are rocky tonight, but so far the weather has been nice and I'm hoping that it holds out for the ports. We're going to play it by ear in Key West, although we'll definitely be going to see the Catman.
That's enough for now, but I'll try to check in again tomorrow.
