So far, (unless I missed it) we have:

A scaled down members book

A press release about a bullet train

A rumor of a DVC merchandise catalog

New smilies on the DIS board

There's only a few hours left in October......

I fully expected to have received the guidebook over a month ago- so the expected timetable is completely shot.

... and the "surprise" was certainly not the new smilies or the bullet train!

What's is Disney Club discount? (Did that sound really dumb?)

The Disney Club replaced the Magic Kingdom Club a couple of years ago. You paid $29 a year and got special discounts on rooms, restaurants, passes (about 5%), car rentals, disney store. The club is ending on 12/31/03, no new memberships were allowed in 2003.

I would love the Florida Seasonal Pass because we always go in the off season! I'm not holding my breath though!

I recieved my new guide book in the mail today (along with a letter explaining that they were condensing the books). The new book is about the size of Time Magazine, only more sturdy. Basically what they said was since much of the information in the guide book doesn't change from year to year they were only putting in the information that does. They also said to hold on to the one you now have to refer to for those things not covered in the new book. Overall the book is fine, I just liked the bigger ones better.
