My family is going to Orlando for a short spring break trip. We are definitely going to MK and Sea World and are debating between UO and IOA. We have 6 adults, one teenage boy who loves rides!, 8 yo, 5 yo, 4 yo, 1 yo girls, and a 2 yo boy, and infant. Initially we really wanted to do UO because of Barney - my 2 yo and the 1 yo love Barney, as does the 4 yo. Then, we thought maybe we'd do UO for the teen and adults that love to ride! Ugh - just don't know!

I have read that there is a 1 day, 2 park pass available - I don't see that online - does anyone know any details about this?

Last question - is Express Pass. We are staying off-site - can we still buy the EPP? And would that cost just be tacked onto the already high admission price?

Thanks for any feedback!

tough decision. if it were me....do 'em both  . unless there is a scheduling problem, i wouldnt see a reason to do one and not the other. its really hard for my family to even consider doing that!!

We love both parks. Took the kids to US when they were small and seeing Barney was PRICELESS!!! Now that they are coaster people like me and DH, Hulk and Fire & Ice are great and IOA. As far as picking one park, that's a toughie. I think there is more to do for small ones at US, with plenty of big stuff too, so I'd probably pick US if you want to choose one.

You can buy the express pass. To get one for both parks the same day adds a lot, but if you want to get a lot done in a day it would help. We've always been offsite and just used regular fast-type passes, but now they are gone. When we were there in August, we noticed that the parks were pretty empty until around noon. Then everyone from the hotels showed up with their front of the line. Get there early to get as much done as possible.

They only sell the one day/two park at the gate not online. You can purchase a one day/one park online and later upgrade to the second park at Guest Services. This is often a good idea as you might not have time to get to the second park in one day. If you find you have the time to make it worthwhile to pay for the second park, just got to Guest Services and upgrade before you head over to the other park. It costs $10 plus tax to upgrade to the second park.

A one day/two park ticket at the gate costs $77.75 (this is the total price which includes the tax) If you buy a one day/one park ticket online for $59.75 plus tax (for a total of $63.64) , you can upgrade it for $10.65 (total price) to the two park at Guest Services so you will save a little over $3 that way.

I recommend doing it that way anyway just in case you don't have time to get to the second park. That way you wouldn't have paid for something you couldn't use.
