I'm not Danny, but it should be around late April. However your dates may not fall as the late summer discounts may not start until sometime between August 18 to 24.

Hellooooooo my friend and welcome to the Haunted Mansion, opssss, sorry, thank you for your preference over the others 24 Dannys ,now talking seriously, like my friend BLACK562 have answered to you, your dates are excluded from the fall offer sorry about that, but you must plan your vacation always around August 26 to catch that wave of discounts, your dates are in the middle of 2 offers and I afraid that you can´t get any discount to your dates. If you will pay rack rate you can rent points at a DVC and stay for the price of a value in a deluxe style resort, or check the prices at one of the downtown disney area resorts.
Like always don´t forget that you will be at DISNEYWORLD and with or without discounts you will have the most magical vacation on Earth, ok

If you checked in on the 27th it wouldn't be bad. But on the 20th you're going to get caught in the middle in all likelihood.

Thanks for the info, we have the free dining bounceback booked from last summer for CR starting 8/18 but I was hoping for a room discount instead. Oh well I'm very glad that I booked the bounceback offer then because going at the very end of August when you drive down was just too hard last year.

Disney is tightening their belt a bit. Don't you have any leeway in your dates or are they set in stone?

It's just disheartening to hear that the room discounts end the day before we arrive.

We have booked flights already so there is no leeway for us. There is a tiny bit of flexibility because we were thinking to stay at a Universal hotel for our first three nights, then Disney the next 10 nights, but that doesn't help anyhow.

We are from Canada and flights are pretty expensive so I booked those before they climbed any higher. I really thought I had researched it and found a lot of info pointing to last half of August being the beginning if a slower period. I could have just as easily booked July or early August but I would not have dreamed that those times would get a discount and end of August would not.

We will still have a great vacation but it will be offsite. I had DH convinced to try on site but not at rack rates.

Well don't lose all hope. Remember these things can change right up til the day they're announced. Also, sometimes they will extend dates if they feel its needed. So hang on to some pixie dust.

While August 18th is possible to begin the late summer promo, signs point more toward the 24th at this point. But I'll sprinkle a little dust your way and hope for the best!!!

This has been mentioned; however, the bounceback didn't exclude them...it just didn't list them. Many folks called on the bounceback and booked a value. If Disney didn't include value resorts, I think they would expect the occupancy at These resorts to plummet as people move away from them toward the discounts. Im seeing a mirroring of the bounceback at this point, with a shortened window of available dates.
