hey crafty friends - need help w/ porcelain ornaments design

I bought some of those flat porcelain ornaments at Michaels. I have the pebeo paint pens.

That's as far as I have got!

Anyone have any ideas for designs to put on them? The ones I bought are round so anything will do. I need something simple -- with my limited artistic talent. ;-)


I want to put the date on the back and personalize them for the nieces and nephews.....any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

not sure how fine of a point your paint pens have but can you find a cute little xmas type pic in a coloring book, catalog etc.....place carbon paper behind it and then trace over it with a sharp pencil, thus transferring the image to the ornament. This way it will be very uniform and neat, and you just color it in.
