It's COQUITO time here in the Caribbean !!! I raise my glass of the incredible stuff to you and wish you Feliz Navidad.

Now for all of you who are wondering "What the heck is figmentvi talking about?"

Every year at Christmas time, we in the Caribbean enjoy a WONDERFUL, traditional Puerto Rican drink called "coquito". It's made with coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, nutmeg and of course lots of rum.

Freshly grated nutmeg, right? DH and I honeymooned on Virgin Gorda, and I had never seen a nutmeg grater until then, bought it and still use it all the time. Makes all the difference in the world to Pina Coladas, so it must be yummy on Coquitos too.

Hey! That's what I'm talkin' about! I need to take that with me to DMIL for the holidays. Is it about 1/3, 1/3 and 1/3, with ground nutmeg on top? Sounds like a once a year thing though.
