Hey all! Headed to 2 R's!!

Just wanted to let all you scrappers know that I am headed to 2 R's tonight and I will let you know later if they have demos there or not...I am looking forward to seeing this place, I hope they have the Tinkerbell Album that someone was talking about last week!!

I'm curious to read what you find at 2R's. I was at WDW for the weekend, but did not get a chance to stop by 2R's. Hopefully next trip ... .

I was there at the end of September and frankly didn't care too much for their stuff. I was all excited to go and even alotted myself a considerable budget to spend there. The theme packs were mostly die cuts that I could make myself using AF paper and a good printer. Ditto for the stickers which I don't use much of anyway (Although I do have a huge box full lol). THe paper was pretty but nothing I couldn't live without.

Instead I would up buying more eeyores (go figure )

Welllllll...I hate to disappoint you all, but eeyorefanatic is right...it is very limited in what they sell! There are a lot of Scrapbook Kits such as theme parks, Princess and Transportation packs and LOTS of Disney stickers...Mostly diecuts, pens, pencils, kits and albums...I did take plenty of pictures though, so you all could see what it looked like inside, which I will post later (I have download the hundreds of Disney pics and sort through them! LOL)...I liked the store and it was great to go to, but as eeyorefanatic said, there wasn't anything I couldn't live without, but I did pick up the Tinkerbell Scrapbook!! It is so cute! LOL...I also asked if they had demos for Scrappin and the CM I talked to said that they mostly just show you what they sell in the store (they have little tables where you can see the papers and stickers out of package)...I asked why they don't have page demos and she said because, "No one who works in this store actually knows much about Scrapbooking" and those were her exact words! LOL...I was thinking I really needed to move down there and get a job at that store! LOL

So anyway, that is it...I must say I was very excited and thought there would be more than what was actually there, but it is a nice store and hopefully I can get the pictures tomorrow!

Thanks for the report. I'll try not to get my hopes up cause I was planning on spending too. I guess it's for the best! Can't wait to check it out for myself though. Glad you had a fun trip.

I'm interested in checking it out....one of my customers got a bunch of things there. I'm not expecting much though, since it seems my scrapping style just doesn't mesh with the kinds of things Disney seems to make. I have some stickers that I bought in July at the MK and realized that the backgrounds to many are bright green! No way I'm going to actually use them unless I've already put that color on my page...I'm really particular about color combinations.

Do they have any loose papers? Or just the same Paper Pizazz stuff you can get at Michael's? I'd love some subtle Disney prints.

Lesley...I honestly didn't see anything I couldn't find anywhere else...They have the Capture the Magic Kits and I did buy 2 of them along with the Tinkerbell Album, which I thought was so cute! They also have display tables that have the different kinds of papers you can use...you will be able to look at them all there and feel them to see if you want to buy them...It really is a neat store in terms of decoration...very unique...I also liked being able to see things first hand before buying them...

It is definitely a store I would go to again when in Disney, but I honestly think I have just about all the Disney stuff they sell..

We're off on Saturday, and I'm glad of this post - I won't go with high expectations. I also think I have everything Disney, but I'm hoping there will be a few new things. Don't care for any of the papers, though. I, too, wish they would have some more subtle and unobtrusive designs.
