I concur! I was shocked to realize that the on-property Hess stations are consistently the same as, or at most a few pennies more than, the Racetrak on 192 near Celebration, which is typically a very reasonable station. I often fill up on Disney property.

Just got back today. Saw the Hess station yesterday, it was $2.53 for regular. I heard people on the bus commenting how the gas on property was actually cheaper than outside. I know gas is taking a huge hike again, so the price probably jumped already.
I live in St. Cloud and usually prices here are the same as the Hess stations on property. (I drive a DME bus so I'm over there every day). I just went to get gas and ended up waiting in a line to pay $2.69 a gallon. Right next to that was Wal-Mart ,which is usually pretty good, but they were $2.87 a gallon. I have had the last two days off so I haven't been on property but I would imagine that it is upwards of $2.65.
I would give almost anything for $2.65/$2.69 a gallon. Gas here is anywhere from $3.10 to $3.37 for the "cheap" stuff. Add an additional .20 for the "premium" stuff. Need to find a new way to get around -
Were there long lines, or are things fairly calm? How about the stations on 192? I haven't ventured out to get gas since Monday, when things were still sane.

It is a convienance store, like 7-11, same sort of stuff. You did not say where you are staying, but, all the Disney resorts have gift shop where you can purchase the items you asked about. Probably at close to the same prices too.
