Hey all, I know that this is one of those topics that are discussed over and over and over again, but I just really need to vent. I have a problem. I think I might be in love with my best friend. I have known this girl for about 12 years and I really care about her. She is nice, smart, beautiful, and she LOVES Disney!! I just cant tell her. She has always been there for me and I have been there for her. She makes me smile even when I want to cry. But I dont want to risk losing her friendship, especially because she is coming on a Disney trip with me, my family, and some of my siblings friends and I dont want that to be akward. I dont know what to do. :sad1:

Leave it as is, and then during the disney trip just kinda..show her?
Through little things.

but dont burst out of no where with

"IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOOVEEEE YOUUUUUU *tackles to floor*"

although that would be awesome..but..
just..slowly.

Things come with time :)

(pfft, im really the one to give advice *rolls eyes*)

EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out.

Just give her subtle hints while youre there. She might return the favors and who knows what could happen.

Tackling her would be pretty awesome. If you decide to do that, record it so we could watch too.;)

lol, yeah... that would be the wrong thing to do. I agree with showing her through little things.

Maybe, whlie you're at disney, show her all the fun times you guys have together (don't be immature people)

In Laura's fantasy world....you guys would have a fantastic time at Disney. You'd laugh until your stomach hurt, scream at the top of your lungs on rides. You'd go on Space, Splash, and Big Thunder Mountain (Railroad). And have tons of fun. Then on your last night at Disney while the wishes show is going on, when you guys are watching...when they have the "stars" go off over the castle you ask her "Did you make a wish" "yeah" "Do you think it will come true?" *Take her hand*........*she smiles at you* * you stand/ or sit hand in hand for the rest of the show*...... at the music begins to stop you ask her "Do you.....do ya wanna go out some time?" she says yes as the last firework of the night goes off.

Awwwwww! That would be one of the most adorable things ever! :cloud9:

On a side note, my mother and I have already decided that I'm getting married at Disney. I DON'T CARE WHAT MY FUTURE HUSBAND (who ever he ends up being) SAYS! We ARE getting married at Disney, even if I have to tie him up and drag him in by his ankles. D:<

On topic tho, I'd just kind of...gradually work in the direction of telling her. You don't want to freak her out, but maybe do what HouseMD said and just kind of hint at it/ do small things until she figures it out on her own. ::yes::

#1 Thank you!:lovestruc
#2 ME TOO...(I'm already saving money....and I have never had a boyfriend, much less a husband yet.)
#3In my opinion....I think if some guy did that..I'd have fallen soooo fast!

I don't know what to tell you. I am one hundred percent romantic and I would love it if a guy told me he loved me and had the courage to share his feelings. You really don't have to worry about her not being friends with you just because you like her...At least I am not the type of person who would let that ruin a friendship and a lot of girls are the same way. I would follow your heart, and tell her, maybe a special way while you are on vacation at the most magical place on earth :) Good luck and keep posted!

I want to get engaged at Disney in front of the castle during Wishes. I'm not sure how it will work yet, but it will.

Thank you all so much for your adivce. It really helped!! And I want to do the wishes thing so badly. I actually had a dream a few nights ago that me and her were on a balcony off of our Grand Villa, and she was standing by herself watching the (no now existant) Pleasure Island fireworks. And I go up to her and tell her how I feel. Then we look into eachothers eyes, and just share the most romantic kiss that has ever been. I am, if you havent guessed already, a hopeless romantic. I really like her, it might even be love. I just hope Im not too late.
