My little mouse, that is. I haven't seen him for about three weeks. But, while we were gone, Trevor (the church intern that lives with us) saw him. Since we've been home, I seen him 4 times. One night he was ran under the refrigerator, and then I saw him a couple of minutes later in the laundry room. These rooms are not near each other, so I think we have two. I wonder if his friend also carries an oozie and has x-ray vision. These mice are amazing. One trap was tripped last night, and all the cheese (we've switch from p.butter to cheese, because he just licks the p.butter off) was gone. I think he may have a machete attached to the oozie to help dislodge the treat. I am going to get the sticky trap tonight. Maybe that will stop him (or them) in his (or their) tracks. BWAAHAAHAAHAA!

Hey Kelli,
I'm glad you're keeping a sense of humor about it!:D

How sweet, he has a girlfriend.;) I guess you make their date nights exciting.:teeth: I think the sticky trap will stop them.

Time to call in the professionals, I would say. Make sure you shop around as prices vary. Or, get a reference for a pro from a friend. We had a bad mice problem and were helped. The pro's can get fresh bait (poison) that we can't get.

We are definately considering the professionals. If they start mating, I am moving, so question!!!

I will send over....

catsrule, sounds like your cats are going to get a double treat!

:)

I have a major rodent phobia! I don't even like to look when mice or rats are in a movie or tv show. I keep saying that if I see one in my house, I'll just sell the house. I know that isn't realistic:rolleyes: and I know I'm too old for a fear that irrational & that they are just tiny things who are supposedly more afraid of me than I am of them, but I just can't help the panicy feeling I get when I think of rodents:eek:
Maybe I need a large herd of cats for protection. Of course then I'd need an awful lot of Allegra D.;)

Don't move. Just borrow a kitty. Goodbye problem. ;)

Noooooooo........don't get those sticky things! :(

Borrow someone's cat.

As much as I don't want to share my house with rodents, I definitely wouldn't want to look at their little eyes as they struggle to free themselves from the adhesive. :(

Seek professionals now. Or get a cat (or 2!) immediately. With mice mating is never an IF. Think rabbits, only smaller. They can become pregnant at the ripe age of 50 days old. Gestational period is 20 days!!! The math is scary. Oh, I've had SUCH battles with this problem.

You may be seeing DIFFERENT mice each time.

Good luck!!!

I don't even want to know how many mice that could add up to in a year! Ugggh!
I have to stop reading this thread I'm getting the heebie geebies!

Good news, we killed one last night!!!!! We came home from the movie around midnight, and he was dead in the trap. Yippee!! I never thought I would be so happy killin something. Now, mouse #2. Stephen thinks he knows where it came in, so he is fixing that today.

One of my son's cats caught a mouse, jumped up on DGD's bed with it, and played "hockey" with it on her bed (I know this is a sign of returning the favor of being fed by the cat, yew!)

She called out to DS "Daddy, there is a mouse on my bed". He thought she was just dreaming. Much to his amazement the cat was still playing hockey with it when he walked in there.

Double yew!:o

Neice woke up in the morning to find kitty with a dead BAT on the floor next to her bed. She was freaked out big time. They left the garage door open and think that is how it must have gotten in. Kitties are good for sumpin'. :teeth:
