How do I get a free membership in Hertz car rental club?

Gayle, they had that in the agreement for several years. I called and asked about it. As long as the debit card is in our profile there won't be a problem. I just rented from Hertz over the weekend with my debit card and had no problems.

If you go for the Gold, it is 50.00 Hertz #1 is free.

Thanks, that is the one I posted and they say they chage the 50.00 to join. What am I missing?
