Hertz at SOG?

Has anyone ever dropped of a Hertz rental car at SOG? Is it possible to do if you're not staying there and if you are a civilian?

The SOG location is a joke. It's practically impossible to return a car there you did not rent there or vice versa. When I have tried the Hertz website tells me "this location does not accept one way rentals" or some other line like that. I assume it's a franchise!

Getting to SOG is only slightly more difficult than going to a WDW resort. If you have a good reason to be there, such as reservations to eat there or you're going to the golf pro shop, you'll be allowed in. I can't believe that returning a rental car there wouldn't be a good enough reason for them to let you in.

I am sure dropping a car off would be a good reason EXCEPT that this location will only accept returns for cars you rented there. So you can't rent at the airport and then drop off. (Well you probably could, but it would be costly!)
