Also jelly beans for 99p, Maple syrup for £3.49, american pancakes £1.19 a pack, and other american goodies. I think it's a 4th July promotion.

I don't really miss the chocolate as I prefer UK alternatives but I know Julie & Joshua miss the sliced bread!

'Nature's Own Butterbread' - great for toast. :thumbsup2

We've got half a bar of Hershey's chocolate in our fridge that a freind brought back from New York. For a confirmed family of chocoholics this is very strange, but none of us liked the stuff - it had a very icky taste to it. Maybe it was off - but it really wasn't nice.

We brought 2 packs of Goofy red licorice in April and put them in our suitcase for eating at home, absolutely horrible - nothing like I have tasted in the UK.
Let's hope the white chocolate pretzels and chocolate crispies are nicer.

Wonka bars are cool though.

Ooh the bf loves Reeses Pieces :) We see the cups and nutrageous bars round here all the time but never seen pieces anywhere, I think a trip to Aldi is in order!

Apparently it used to be made with spoiled milk (going back to the depression when nothing was wasted etc) and the taste has just kinda stuck even though the recipe has changed, it's not one that British people tend to like as our chocolate is nothing like it... I quite like the kisses but not the bars of chocolate, not sure why!

Have to agree, even the smell makes me feel ill,; but my DD loves kisses! I actually like the cookies 'n' cream bars, and their dark choc mini bars are really good!!!!

Thanks Jules :thumbsup2.Reese's Piece's,Jelly Beans+Pancakes for me,i will be off there on Thursday.

I also prefer kisses than the bars.x.
