Here's the thread to post requests for pre-cruise postcards for children

If anyone has 2 extra post cards I would love to have them sent to my family as well as to my sisters family.

I am so excited about our trip in November but for some reason my sister is not so excited I think if she were to receive a postcard from any character she would then be very EXCITED..

Just send me with a PM with names and addresses and DCL postcards will be on the way. I will be working on getting postcards ready for mailing today. I can add yours to the list.

Send me a PM with your DD's name and mailing address, also who their favorite Disney characters are, and the postcards will be on the way. I see you are cruising May 15th, so I know you are sailing on the Magic. I like to add in what ship you are sailing on too.

My son would love a postcard from Mickey if anyone has a spare one. We are sailing on the 31st July 7 night.

However we stay in the UK, so I do not want to put anyone to any expense, and would totally understand if there are no takers.

Not a problem Scott, I've sent DCL postcards to the UK before. Just PM me with your DS's name and mailing address, and a DCL postcard will be on the way.

Hope you are still sending postcards from the Magic Cruise Line. We are celebrating my parents 50th year anniversary on the 6/19/04 western cruise. Their only two grandchildren (6 and 2) would love to receive a postcard! What a great idea - the kids are already excited, imagine a personal greeting from the magic boat!

I am a little late in sending this but things got really hectic before we left. My son was the one who was starting to question if the characters were "real". He received the postcard and after I read it to him he said "I guess they are not just people in costumes!" He was sooo excited and told everyone how Goofy could not wait to see him and that he mentioned it being April fools day when we would be on the ship. You helped me maintain the Disney Magic for him for just a little bit longer. Thank you very much for taking the time to do this for all of us.

Well, this will be our second time cruising on the disney cruise ship, the Wonder. I was just wondering how I go about getting a postcard sent to my 2 boys? We will be sailing on the 5/16/04 cruise. Please let me know! I am new to this whole thing. Thanks for your help!

First of all, welcome to the DIS. If you send me a PM with your boys names and address, and if they have any special Disney characters that are their favorites, let me know that as well.

My children recieved their postcards today. We aren't sailing until DEc but they were so excited to see that Mickey and Cinderella couldn't wait to meet them. You did an awesome job. From the disney fonts to the original comments that were meant esp for them. It was beyond what I expected. Thank you so much. The postcards will def be on the first page of out 1st Cruise scrapbook.
