Thank you so much. I received the kid's postcard today and have it in a safe spot until we surprise them. It is so kind of you to offer this service and bring a little "magic" to the littlest cruisers!!!

Thanks so much! One of the postcards came Saturday and one came today. The boys both appreciated them. Andrew said it just hit him that he'll be sailing in the Caribbean and swimming with dolphins on his 16th birthday. What a lucky guy!

For those who have requested postcards over the past few days, all your postcards have been printed off and will be in the mail in the next couple of days. Please allow up to 10 days for the postcards to arrive.

Not sure how this works, exactly...

but we will be cruising for the very first time! It'd be cool to have Mickey send us a postcard for our DSs (4 & 2). They are very excited about this! And we even bought Mickey t-shirts for the boys to bring on board, so they can have their shirts autographed by Mickey! (Not that we don't love the other characters, btw)

Like I said, not sure how this postcard thing works...is it too late, maybe? Will be leaving in less than 3 weeks. Thank you!

All that you need to do is, send me a PM with your DS's names and address, I can have a postcard on the way, from Mickey, in a day or two.

I am not sure what I need to do, but I saw some emails about how you can have a postcard sent to kids who will be cruising.

My family will be taking a 3 day cruise this spring. We leave on April 15. My two DD would love to receive a postcard before the trip.

Thank you so much. This will be a great way to start the trip!

They are usually sent out within a week of your request. It is possible it got lost in the mail.

Verandah Man may be able to get you one on time from NJ.

I just went through my complete list and I don't have any request in my book for a postcard for your son. If you can PM me ASAP, I can have a postcard on the way this afternoon, it just won't have a Florida postmark, as I live in New Jersey. I usually send the postcards to moinab in Florida. then she mails them from her house so the postcards can have a Florida postmark.

I'm sorry your son didn't receive a postcard, but I don't know who said they would send one to him.

If anyone has sent me a PM requesting postcards "MORE" than two weeks ago and has "NOT" received them, could you please let me know, so that I can get the request filled. As of today, all the request that I have written down in my notebook, have been mailed out. I'm truly sorry if your postcard has not been received.

I have not read through this whole thread but I am so happy to see the magic!!

This is something my Aunt does for my two DD's. She does it from her computer with clip art and sends a them a card from their favorite character (s). My oldest DD (4) was in awe when she received her card from Cinderella inviting her to WDW and to visit her castle. I know she truly believed and that is what makes the magic even more exciting!! She couldn't stop talking about it and she showed everyone her card!!

This is such a great idea and I hope the pixie dust continues for all the kids.

Your DS's postcard went out in the mail at 12:45pm today. You should have it before you leave, keep a look out for it by Thursday.

Just a quick update. I have all postcard request (15 of them) ready for mailing and they will be going out Wednesday morning. Please allow up to two weeks for the postcards arrival at your home. If your postcard has not arrived within two weeks, please send me a PM and let me know. The postcards going out Wednesday will be going to Maureen (moinab) in a large envelope. Once she receives them, she will mail them out so that the postcards have a Florida postmark.

This is the greatest idea! I would like to request postcards for our two daughters, age 3 and 7. We sail in just over 60 days and I think they would totally love receiving a DCL postcard signed by a “Disney Character” in the coming weeks.

All you need to do is PM me with your DD's names and address, and please let me know which ship you will be cruising on and a postcard will be on the way.

THANK YOU so much for sending the postcard to my Grandson Nicholas for his birthday. He is so excited about the cruise. What a wonderful thing to do for all these children (and their parents and grandparents!!!!)

I would like to request a post card for my daughter, who will be 6 when we take our 4 day land/3 day sea vacation. We are sailing on the Wonder on June 3, 2004.

By the way, what a great bunch of people here! This is our first Disney cruise, and I didn't start getting excited about it until I found this board.
