I took these at The Donnas concert tonight (I'm still kinda wired)...

We're on the way to the club...

Here's the first band, longwave or somethin'nother. Uhm, they were, well, they stunk.

Here's Ok-Go. They were really popular with the girls in the crowd.

I got to get upstairs behind the VIP chain.

Here are The Donnas!

That ball of hair & energy is Donna C, the drummer.

The bouncers came through & kicked everyone out of that area, so I had to go among the unwashed masses.

My sister got a great spot to get a shot.

Here's me with Donna C. Okay, I've got a big 'ol crush on her, but can ya blame me?

Here's Donna F makin' a face & my sister managed to chop off a part of my head in the frame.

Notice the smile gone from my face? That's because a couple minutes before this, Donna A (seen here) started to open the door & me, being the gentleman that I am, tried to hold it for her, but she closed it again...on my finger! She felt bad. So did my finger.

Here's me with Donna R & my finger is still throbbing!

And here's me, at home, ready to crash...but first I need to do a super-hero type pose.

They sound like a female cross between The Ramones & Kiss.

Oh, the funny thing was we were all waiting by the tour bus before they came out & I leaned against the bus with my arms crossed. All the kids waiting assumed I was their bodyguard. LOL. They were asking me all sorts of questions about the band. It was kinda fun telling teenagers what to do & having them actually do what I told them. I think the ruse was up when I was getting the pictures with the band.

I agree with you on Donna C.... she's a hottie. Too bad she wasn't the one who squished your finger, you could have milked that for a long time.

It was weird because I had 5 different friends their & I only stood with a few of them for a short period of time.

My finger nail is all purple looking & it still hurts


& JF, I suppose I should have sat in the chair with a novel & taken a picture, looking all George Plimpton, Masterpiece Theatre like?
