Here's my MM ?

We are socal select pass holders. We have never done the MM before and was thinking about staying one night at the Paradise Pier hotel on a Monday night so we could have the magic morning on Tuesday.

Will that work? Or do we have to be staying in the hotel the night before AND the night OF the magic morning?

(this will be the Tues after Thanksgiving if that changes anything).

No separate ticket. Your hotel key card is what gets you into early entry. You don't have to turn that in when you check out, and it works for any magic mornings included in your dates whether they are first, middle, or last (check-out) day. You will present your hotel key and AP together for admission at MM.

You could also treat a non MM day as your MM day. No one will have an upper hand. Get there early and walk with purpose to fantasy or tomorrow land.

With a one night stay, you may take advantage of MM both the day you checkin and the day you checkout.

MM are usually Sat, Sun, Tue, Thurs -- but not always.
Thurs Sept 1 and Fri Sept 2 are both MM, likely because Sat Sept 3 is the 5k fun run.
