So I can get the 40% off code if I check in one day earlier than my existing reservation....what if I make the reservation for the 22nd but don't officially check in until the 23rd? Has anyone tried this? I would still be saving money over the original rack rate.....

Other people have had this idea. It's usually a popular question for Christmastime. If you don't show up on the day you are booked to check in, Disney will cancel your reservation, unless you can prove you had some sort of delay or emergency.

Perhaps a better solution is for one member of your party to arrive one day early and check in on the earlier date. Everyone else can arrive on the second day.

What time of day do you plan to get there. I've done this at other hotels (not Disney)

I plan to arrive very early (say 8:00 am) and I do not ewant to wait until 3 or 4 PM to checkin and use my room. I will book the night before and then call the hotel and tell them I will be a very late/early checkin (8:00 am) and I need my room when I arrive, other hotels do this - not sure if Disney will...

Did that make any sense?
