Here's a new one!

Wow, sure would be nice to have another TSM. We really love that ride. ::yes:: MK has two Dumbos, why not two TSM at DHS??
Duplicating rides is not okay. We should not hold Disney to a standard where duplications are okay. Dumbo is a much different situation. Don't compare TSMM to dumbo.

I'm all for duplicating rides to decrease wait times , but not at the cost of a new attraction

It's not two different locations. SoundStage One is right next door to Toy Story Mania. It would be an expansion of the existing Toy Story, not a second version of Toy Story in a different part of the park.

well...that's again an embarassing black eye for disney...

toy story is just an ok family ride with beloved characters...if they were to "Expand it"...basically because it would take more time and effort to think up something new...is BUDGET

I remember Jim Hill once saying that the sound stage space was set aside for a Monsters Inc. Ride that was canceled before construction began, but that's why the arch matches the metal work from Monsters Inc. He also said that the creator of Soarin' said his regret was not putting in a third theater.

That is the soarin creators fault. Disney budgets are the problem, they only give imagineers so much once they get close or execs think they shouldn't spend anymore the money stops. Therefore unless he had more money in the budget I don't see a third theater at that time. There was a monsters inc. ride planned and it did never happen. There now seems to be plans to add a monsters coaster in DCA.

If they ever add a new Pixar attraction, my only hope is that it is Incredibles related.

That is all.

According to the Jim Hill/Unofficial Guide Disney Dish Podcast, Disney is waiting for Universal's ten-year exclusivity on the KUKA Arm (Forbidden Journey, Sum of all thrills in Innoventions) to end and they were planning on shutting down Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and Carousel of Progress for a giant Incredibles attractionS, where there would be two versions, a Jack-Jack version (family dark ride) and a Mr. Incredible (thrill ride) version. They were going to move the Carousel of Progress into Innoventions and redo it as a walk through attraction.

Keep in mind that this was already either cancelled or put on hold when the JH Podcast was recorded in 2011. I just thought I'd share.

There have been numerous plans that were put on hold. The latest I heard was an incredibles coaster for Pixar place in DHS. That would make sense. Not so sure about incredibles in tomorrow land tho unless it's some big new ride tech.
