Here's a new one!

I would rather see a second family attraction built. One of the biggest reasons Toy Story Mania gets such long lines is there are so few attractions at the studios suitable for all the family.
RnR and ToT are thill rides, Star Tours is okay for older kids, Great Movie isn't relevant to children anymore and there are a lot of shows at the park. The only thing everyone can experience and enjoy together really is the Backlot tour and this is also getting old and irrelevant.

I've heard of a possible third theater for soarin but it makes absolutely no sense to move toy story mania out of Pixar place. I have never heard of this site to begin with. I don't see why Disney would do something like that they aren't that stupid.

Toy Story wouldn't move, they would build a second version of the ride in soundstage one (currently has Oakens funland) to increase capacity.

Still doesn't make sense to me, why increase capacity on an existing ride when you could divert some of that traffic and come up with something new and exciting all at the same time by putting a new ride in that sound stage? I think Toy Story is only so popular because of a lack of family rides as someone already said.

Thats even more stupid. Why would you have two of the basically the same attractions with the same theme in two different locations. The great things about toy story mania and things like it is they can change out the scenes in the ride because it uses screens. Disney should branch out and do more with pixar place not add another TSMM in a different part of the park, I honestly can't see disney doing that.

It's not two different locations. SoundStage One is right next door to Toy Story Mania. It would be an expansion of the existing Toy Story, not a second version of Toy Story in a different part of the park.

I initially thought they would just add an extra ride system, similar to the mirror versions at Space Mountain or Primeval Whirl. But after re-reading it would still be same station but just the cars would loop into different banks of screens.
Again though they are better off using the space for a new attraction, even if it is just crush's coaster.

A little off topic but I found this article on their page a little more interesting: http://disneyatwork.com/2014/07/a-disney-frozen-one-two-punch-to-diagon-alley/ Makes a good point that Hollywood Studios is going to see really good boost this summer.

That's a great article. Just disappointed that in the second sentence the editor must have been sleeping. I had to re read a few times, but as worded it says that most likely diagonalley will not be a home run. ( there’s little doubt that Diagon Alley won’t be a home run for Universal Studios Florida. ) How do things get published like this?

Well after today 6+ hours to get in to DA, 450 minute waits on gringotts.

Rather than an expansion on TSMM, why not a different TS related ride? Two Toy Story rides would mean half the people on line for TSMM could be diverted to another line, no?

I agree. With 3 movies there has got to be other ideas out there for another attraction.

why not a different pixar ride in pixar place, incredibles, monsters, bugs life, cars, brave, memo, something else. If they do that why don't they just name it toy story pan like they have in hong kong.

Because duplicating the current ride is far less expensive then designing and building a totally new one.

I really enjoy the moster inc ride in Tokyo, wish they would bring that to Floridas DHS

I thought it was cute, my boyfriend thought it was dumb. In fact, most of the reviews I've read about that ride panned it, so I don't think it's the kind of slam-dunk attraction it would need to be for Disney to duplicate it. Then again, they duplicated VOTLM, so who knows... Maybe they do just want to do build whatever's easiest. I'd like to see Up, Wall-E, and Wreck-it-Ralph represented more in the parks. Just no more Nemo. Please, for the love of all things holy, no more Nemo. :rotfl:

I really hope both of these turn out to be true.

Soarin' needs a upgrade ....

TMWM needs to expand to accommodate everyone :)

Fingers crossed.

Wow, sure would be nice to have another TSM. We really love that ride. ::yes::

MK has two Dumbos, why not two TSM at DHS??
