It's not a board, it's an email list, I like some of the topics, but just not when they talk about kids and go off topic...this is not about Disney it's about teachers and principals, I've been just deleting most of them, I'm just so far behind on reading everything, but it looks like the mods will be shutting down this line of topic soon...

It the allears.net email list, there are a lot of good discussions that go on, but occasionally some idiots take over the discussion and flood the list with their stupid ideas. I've learned a lot from this one and from the dvctalk list that I'm on. It's just occasionally that a topic comes along and everyone takes a hold of it like pit bulls and won't let go. The same thing happened on the dvctalk list with scooters about two weeks ago.
Anyways....off to bed after I feed the kids, busy day tomorrow, we have to sign the loan documents....I already have the documents for our VWL add on!
"Ears to Ears" is a Yahoo group (email based Disney board), people submit a question via email and people comment on it. Someone asked about a letter they had seen posted which a parent would submit to a teacher about why taking a kid to Disneyworld was educational and their kid should not be punished for being taken out of school. It spawned a whole heap of responses which began to get ugly, teachers defending their position of having to keep up attendance, parents saying the kids were theirs and THEY could decide when they go on vacation.
When I was three days behind on emails, it just got tedious having to delete all those emails. Finally the moderators said they wouldn't approve any more emails on that subject unless they had something new to contribute.
