New Year's Eve here. I'm about to take an afternoon nap to encourage DS to do the same....:rotfl:

LAST! (for now)

Do you guys get the Rose Parade down there or is that a strictly American thing?

Yay! :dance3:

Okay, now I'm off to bed. Fortunately, I'm off at 7, so I should be home by 8 tomorrow night. And I'm off Saturday, which will be nice :)

....well, if I don't get to 'talk' to you, have a safe and happy NEW YEAR!

...I see you got yer frozen ball....:rolleyes1

I got yer frozen ball, but I hope you won't be offended if I don't put it up because I'm hoping that within the next couple days/weeks we are back to our normal 60s/70s warm weather. This rainin/freezing stuff will hopefully stop and I don't want to think I'll need that much bundlin up! I will watch yours and Dana's because y'all live in freezin climates!

So what time in CA will we see the Sydney fireworks going off?

Sydney (and Melbourne) fireworks will be going off in a little over 7 hours....What does that make it your time?

Yes thanks!. Funny thing is the temperature in Melbourne is 40 C (104 F) right now...

I know, right?? LOL! Having a week and a half off work is really helpful!:thumbsup2 Hopefully I can keep it up once I go back on Monday.

Hi Ness! Would be nice to have you on the boards more often again.

OK, that means about 2AM my time.

Funny, they keep saying about how x million viewers worldwide will be watching the parade. My friend in New Jersey tells me that the people on the East Coast don't give a rats as$ about the Rose Parade so I wondered if anyone else in the world cared, and I guess it just us So Cal people who really think it's all that, and I don't even think that, but Fran and I like to watch the marching bands. She used to march the parade with Pasadena City College. I would never do it, 5 miles is WAY too far! But since she has made it a tradition I enjoy it!
