...yup. She arrived the day before Thanksgiving and always leaves on Dec 31, so she can attend her family reunion in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day with all her cousins....she has a blockage in her artery in her neck, so she comes here to get a check-up at the Deborah Hospital in south Jersey, so she will be back in May....however, my DH and I have already 'yelled' at her to STAY in PR so we can visit HER for Christmas....don't know how my brothers and sister feel about that, though...

all the unusual things you didn't know about fellow DISers, so did she reloacte to Puerto Rico or did you come here from there? My mom used to go there a lot for work to use their massive telescope, she always had an interesting time.

I can't imagine being away from home that long. I missed my kitties when we were gone less than a week!

Hi Ness. No - I had her old home and mobile numbers but she told me that she had disconnected both before she disappeared off the boards. I didn't try calling them.

I also sent her a couple of emails to the email address but never heard back from her.

What about you? Any contact from/with Ruthie?

Nothing. The last I heard from her was when she left the voice mail message telling me to let everyone know not to worry right before things got turned off. I have her mailing address. I'll just have to do some old fashioned paper and pencil communication. (Or at least print a letter from my computer... )
