Here right now, crowds are AWESOME

You people complaining about crowd levels have no concept of busy. The wife and I did Epcot today and managed to ride everything, did the Behind the Seeds tour, sampled some food booths and made our Dinner at Tokyo Dining early. We even left the park at 6 to return at 8 PM and found a great spot for Illuminations down by England with no issues. Test Track did manage to hit 100 minutes today, but we only had to fast pass that and Soarin (we didnt even need to) and everything else was 15 minutes or less.

Am I missing something here or are you people just spoiled? I have seen busy, like find a spot for Illuminations 3 hours early busy. These crowds are cake.

I would be surprised to hear that it's very crowded at this time of September (although I've seen posts saying that) - I'd probably have the same kind of interpretation as you.

We've been at Christmas, spring break/Easter, summer, January, September, etc., etc. - crowds in September can't compare to the really crowded times of year, I agree.

I asume it is a combination of lack of experience with real crowds (try Christmas, lol) and bad planning (or just not knowing how to avoid crowds).

We have never been to the world and normally avoid places that have the potential to be crowded. We will probably be in the "crowds are nuts" group.

Disney during Easter during 1998 wasn't Disney during Easter in 2007. Two of the theme parks with the least crowds Animal Kingdom (under a sneak preview opening) and Epcot (which was dead) had much higher crowd capacities in '07. Obviously Soarin, TT, Mission Space, the more popular rides that exist now weren't there in 1998 which probably made Epcot less appealing to some.

My point is there could be tons of reason's people complain about current crowds not just because of being spoiled. You have to take what you hear from each person with a grain of sand as we all see and visualize things differently....I think the best method is posting wait times...that shows the real story...

Well we just returned home today, from an 8 day stay,(9-19--9-27) and from someone who has been in Sept. a few times before it was MUCH more crowded that usual. I'm sure not summer or Christmas crowded, but for sept. is was a bit overwhelming. That being said the wait times were not bad at all. 30 min. was the longest wait we had, but the crowds of people were awful. at times we could not even walk down main st. It was weird it looked much more crowded than the wait times were..... oh well all in all we had a great time. The crowds did look like they were picking up alot this weekend. But the weather looks like it will be great for this coming week a nice cool front is said to be coming through WDW

We were in EPCOT today too. What a great day, some rain, but hey...it's Florida.

for Sept, the parks are crowded. Epcot wasn't bad today, but Soarin did have a 60 min wait and test track a 70 min wait time at 3pm. Normally in Sept the wait times are much less...and there were no fast passes left for soarin.

Magic Kingdom was packed, probably because of extended hours, but as we left at 10 there was a 20 min wait for snow white! Snow White! I have never waited for snow white before!

I couldn't agree with you more!! We just got home from 2 weeks at Disney World(9-12 to 9-26), and we have gone the last 9 September's and this was by far the most crowded in many, many years. What I did notice was Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's were not bad at all and then Thursday's and the weekend would be packed and Sunday's were not bad. We had Annual passes a few years back and went 4 times that year including Thanksgiving and although it wasn't quite the crowds like Thanksgiving but it was getting close to it a few days. I was shocked because I kept reading online before we left that the crowd levels were low.

See I thought that was strange, too. MK on Thursday was wall-to-wall people, but the rides, other than Peter Pan which posted a consistent 40 min wait for standby, were reasonable wait times. The dh and I could not figure out what all the people were doing. We plowed ahead with our plan, did headliners multiple times w/out FP and had an awesome time. But the streets were packed.

we were there the 19th-26th and thought the crowds were not bad at all. We did use Fast Pass for the more popular rides. Some rides said 30 or 40 min. waits but it was more like 10-15 min. I thought rope drope was always packed but once the park opend and the crowds disbursed it did not seem too bad.

The only problem we had was for our ADR at Le Cellier. We arrived 10 min. before our ADR time and was told it would be 40 more min. until we were seated. Ok....I'll wait......and wait.....and wait....finally they came by and were taking names on paper and said their ADR computer had crashed. So we waited some more and were finally seated in a nearly empty restaurant. I was shocked since there were so many people waiting. Anyway, the food was great as usual even though we missed Illuminations that night since the wait was so long.
