Here now - some observations

Hi everyone!

DBF and I have been here since 1st Nov and having a fab time, but some observations (good and bad)

The crowds seem manageable with a bit of planning and smart use of the FP+. Most parks have waits for things that didn't have waits before ( Spaceship Earth had a 45min wait at 9:40am on Tuesday!!) not sure if that's a knock on from the pre booked FP+. Conversely, I've made changes and booked new times on the app with no problem at all.

Weather has been good,warm but a bit cloudy. The days the sun has been out has been the days that the parks appear to be nuts crowd wise.

Food and Wine festival seems busier this year, certainly the times we have popped in (staying in YC) it's been a similar atmosphere to a frat party later on in the day and not very pleasant. Lots of people wearing 'drinking around the world' tshirts.

Were at Busch Gardens today and waited for nothing!! Sat on Cheetah Hunt for 3 rides because nobody was waiting to get on. Longest wait was for lunch!!!

As many of you have mentioned, the rudeness in people in the parks seems to have reached a new high. Whilst waiting in line to check in to Be our Guest the other night for dinner we experienced line cutting, shoving, spitting and foul language.

However, overall the trip is going well and I'm looking forward to the 5k on Sat and my birthday celebrations on Sat night at O'hana

Space ship earth quiet often has it's longest wait early. People will walk in and straight on it. Later in the day it will probably have no wait.

We thought food and wine was really busy this year. Huge lines for some of the booths. They will be offering fast pass + for them next year! Lol.

Hope you enjoy the 5k. Is that through AK? We did the 5k one on the tower of terror weekend.

Queue for BOG sounds HORRIBLE! Surely CMs should be controlling behaviour in queues same as they do for rides? I mean, yes they've booked an ADR there too but people pushing and shoving, line cutting, being foul mouthed and spitting are all things you DON'T want to see outside ANY restaurant and just should NOT be allowed to happen. What is wrong with people in today's society at all?? Sorry if anyone thinks I'm being harsh but why should morons spoil it for the rest of us??

It's our last full day today and whilst the temperatures seem to have dropped and the wind has picked up, it's still Disney and we are still having a wonderful time.

Epcot is a joy to explore now that F&W is over and we walked to HS last night for Osbourne lights and Fantasmic. Have really enjoyed staying in the Yacht Club, location wise it's brilliant and everyone here is so helpful and friendly. Also there appears to be less children running riot around the lobby which is always nice!!

My DBF arranged for a Make her a Princess celebration to be set up in our room for my birthday, came back from dinner to find a huge door banner hanging from our room door, went in and there were 3 hat boxes on the bed. DREAM, WISH and BELIEVE. In each box was a little gift: a necklace, a tiara and a perfume spray bottle with mirror. I got a framed proclamation of my official princess title from Belle and a letter from my Fairy Godmother. Was such a beautiful surprise, with lovely mementos to take home.

Will be very sad to leave this time but as with each trip, it's not goodbye it's simple see you real soon.

Awwh! What a wonderful suprise!

Shame about your experience queuing for BoG. Unfortunately we can't control other guests, but at least you can be proud to say that you do not lower yourself to the level of an animal. Rude people are sadly found everywhere. Apart from that how was BoG? We have a reservation there next May.
