We want to finally try the boardwalk bakery for breakfast, but we have no idea where to park - staying at Bonnet Creek so can’t take Disney transportation Help! Thank you!!

You pull up to the guard shack at the bw and they will direct you

If the lot is full, they will direct you across the street

Or you uber

Or valet park

You can park right at the Boardwalk. Tell the guards that you want to shop and eat. I don’t recall whether there’s a time limit, but diners and shoppers do not have to pay for parking at any Disney resort.

Okay so the boardwalk shops/eateries have their own lot then? I wasn’t sure. We almost never go over to that area...only once many years ago. Do you think the boardwalk restaurants lot fills up super early? We will likely go for breakfast around 8.

I don’t think we’d be there for the day, but we definitely would like to investigate the area a bit. Trying to do things we’ve never done before. The kids are all grown and we are hoping to expand beyond our normal boundaries! Lol

I want to say you’ll get at least three hours.

ETA: I just saw your follow-up post. There is not a separate lot for shoppers/diners at the Boardwalk Inn/Villas. It’s either self-serve or valet for the entire resort whether you’re a visitor or a guest. But guests of the resort pay for parking whereas visitors do not.

Okay, thank you so much - (also, it seems backwards that guests who are paying for rooms also have to pay to park).

Anyway, thanks for the help! It is much appreciated!!

you'll probably have no trouble self parking for breakfast as a lot of people staying there will take their cars out of their spots for the day.

Have you looked at the menu? Just want to make sure you know what they serve since you are making a special trip.

There are no tables in the bakery, just some tables outside. The tables are shared with other eateries, but not an issue at breakfast.

The only thing to see on the boardwalk at that time of day is the gift shop, which doesn’t have anything you wouldn’t find at other Disney gift shops.

I like staying at hotels in boardwalk area, but i would not make a special trip there for breakfast at the bakery. If I wanted to check out the area I would wander over on an Epcot day.

I had to wait in line more than half an hour both times I went there for breakfast. The outdoor tables near there have a great view of the lagoon, but there was bird waste on many of the tables and chairs.

I'm not sure what day you are planning to go, so just a heads-up - if it is a peak time, especially on or near a holiday - they sometimes restrict parking to Boardwalk villas/inn guests only (and possibly those with reservations at a restaurant on the boardwalk). They will post a sign near the hotel security gate if that's the case. You could always Uber, or take a boat/walk from Epcot or DHS to the boardwalk to eat at the bakery.

Good points about crowds. It is one of the very few options for bfast. Lines can be ridiculous. Only outdoor seating, lots of birds too. Do not feed! Watch your food closely. They will be aggressive and try to steal your food
