Here Now - Magical Weather...Not so Magical Crowds!

Wow perceptions...was at Epcot yesterday and thought it was fine....did front rides in morning and moved to the countries at 11:30 and was relatively empty...and then finished with Soarin at like 2 and then on the way out walked on Spaceship Earth? There were a ton of high school kids....band trips(Music festival) and Oh those cheerleaders/dancers!!!!!!!!!!! I think they tend to stay up front by the rides. That's the part of our March trip I find hardest to take those roving band of girls!!!!!!!
Went to DTD and about 7 and it was packed you could hardly walk, decided to take a boat ride down to PO, nice, and the treehouses are lit at night and you can see inside.
The weather has been great and is going to be in the high 80's today, the parks are going to be open later this weeks so I guess the crowds will continue...

We never got to the world showcase except to have dinner in Canada. So perhaps it was better back there. And maybe we just did everything backwards as Future world was busy in the am.

Off to OKW pool today. If I could bottle the sunrise in the morning I would!! Another unbelievably perfect weather day in store!

Warm wishes.

So did OKW yesterday and I have to say - not a big fan. We wanted to have lunch and they do not have a food court but only a small take out counter with 2 cashiers (of which one was open). I waited 1/2 hour to order and then another 15 for the food.

Due to the fact that SSR guests are going to OKW to use their main pool, we arrived at 11am and there were NO CHAIRS avaialbe. Seems the whole "lay my towel on a chair for 3 hours until we get to the pool" runs rampid there! There were lots of empty chairs with towels on them and no bodies in them for hours.

Weather was spectacular though and the kids loved the slide.

Today we did MK and I have to say - WHAT RECESSION???? Ok, so you be the judge...by noon, 60 min at Peter Pan, 80 min at Splash Mountain, 60 min. at Space Mountain....I am telling you the walkways were so busy you could hardly move! And I have been here at Christmas and Easter so I have seen busy....,

The staff say it has picked up this week, but will drop off next week and then gradually pick up again throughout April.

Weather is still perfect. Hot and sunny every day. 30% chance of rain tomorrow and then sunshine and cooler (79 degrees) for the remainder of the week.

I have to agree with the take out counter service at OKW, it does need to spruce up a bit. Is the pool at SSR not open? We are headed for OKW on Sat. for the week, and are only planning 2 days for the parks, and the rest of the time in the pool. I would hate to think I can't get a place to sit in my own resort...:sad2:

thanks
