Here now. Heat is keeping people away

Crowds are decidedly light today, I presume because of the heat and humidity. Managed to be first on PP. There was a nice girl (12?) and her mom immediately behind me. I offered them my spot but they were happy to be second. They seemed pleased that I offered, though. I was also the second person on Mr. Toad.

Crushed on Buzz again today. Currently I have the top three scores.

Going to ride Star Tours shortly. Rarely do that one because it gives me motion sickness. Let's see if I can handle it today.

At the rope, I met a young lady who marked her 100th visit to DL today. She's also been to all of the parks in the world (I've only been to five of the six).

Folks, despite the heat, this is the day to come.

My husband and I went on Wednesday when the heat was 110 where we live. Disneyland wasn't to that extent however, I felt dehydrated and made me grateful we didn't take the kids...I can understand why people aren't taking the kids..but I could also be blackout dates, I know my sister is waiting for tomorrow before her pass expires.

Yesterday seemed dead because of the heat! I glad it is cooling down now, the heat was too much yesterday and this morning.

Feels much better now due to light cloud cover. Nothing like the heat of this morning, thankfully.

Heading home to Chicago on Tuesday for a week. It'll be in the sixties there! Beats the 109 of LA last Thursday.

Is definitely cooling off finally! With the clouds and temps that will hopefully be in the low 80s this evening! Yay!

We are headed to the parks tmw just for the day, the forecast says it'll *only* be 84 :) maybe it's just me but it always feels a solid 5-10 degrees hotter at the parks (especially CA).

I was at DL last Sunday to Friday and it was very quiet all week. Longest I waited for anything was 20 mins, and GotG, RSR and Soarin with fastpass. The heat was horrendous and seemed to keep people away...which was okay with me! Lots of water, rides and shows with AC and finding shade made it tolerable. I've spent today in DTD and it's now very comfortable.

I was there friday, heat was definitely keeping people away. Wasn't that bad, dry heat.

So glad the heat finally broke this afternoon. I'll be at the parks tomorrow, expecting it to be a bit more busy since the projected high is only low 80s.
