Day 1: With the exception of the concierge messing up my tickets, everything was wonderful. I decided to upgrade to a 7th day (from 6 no hopper) but I thought 48.00 per ticket was a little high, considering we weren't sure we'd use it or not. She put the extra day on the wrong person ( I went ahead and upgraded 2 of us but left the other 4 with just 6 days) however, I remembered a Reassign Ticket in my MDE, so the 45 minutes I spent with her trying to figure out how to correct it could have been taken care of through my MDE in less than a minute. Regardless, MK was wonderful! It rained and nobody came, so we did lots, and would have done more but we had an 8:05 am ADR for BOG on day 2. There it began. First, the MK buses at AoA have been few and far between, often other park buses coming 2 or 3 times before MK shows up. We got to the bus stop at 6:45 and between the late bus, security, and a hold up with some guy arguing with the CM that he had an early ADR, we got to BOG with 1 minute to spare (with a brisk power walk). Around 10 minutes before park opening, 4 members of my party got in line for 7DMT while I took DGD3 to the carousel. My party texted that 7DMT was down so no biggie since we had an fp for 10:15. Long story short, of my 3 fps I made at 60 days out, 2 of the rides were down (SM also) We went to ride barnstormer, it was down. I think it was after 12 before 7DMT reopened and much later for SM. Went to ride Pooh, it was down. Hour wait for Dumbo and decided to take the train from Fantasyland to Frontierland. After waiting almost 40 minutes, they told us the train was down. The highlight was late lunch at Skippers (2:15 thank goodness) We decided to leave but before we left the park I went to GS and asked if I could make the anytime pass for another day (7DMT). We never did get to ride it but going back to MK Sunday. The kiddos were worn out. I think all the people who decided not to go to MK yesterday showed up today. I was really nice about the request and would have accepted no if he couldn't do it.

TIP: If you ever stay at AOA, request a room far away from the end of the building. Every person who decides to walk down the stairs lets the door slam (it's heavy) so the door slams all day long - frequently.
That said, looking forward to the rest of our Disney stay. Very crowded here, at least at MK. Not Spring Break or Christmas crowded, but crowded all the same.

Wow that is unusual for that many rides to be down on the same day. I guess you should be happy you didn't get stuck on SM when it broke down.

We are here as well and were at MK from rope drop to Wishes . We were also in that SDMT line that was a waste of time , and had our Space Mountain and Pooh fast passes cancelled . There was a lot of rides not working properly this morning and it went on for hours . Despite this we had a fabulous rest of the day , but it was a frustrating start for sure .

Sorry you've had a rough start....sending happy thoughts that the rest of your trip is better!

I remember staying near the end of a hall at AoA once. The doors didn't bother us too much but I can see where it slamming all day would get annoying - good tip for others! We just counted them as how many families were ahead of us in the bus/bag check/attraction lines.

Here's hoping you were able to keep spirits up despite an odd second day. May the rest of your trip be magical :wizard:

We have been here for 10 days and have found that each of our magic kingdom days have been affected by ride closures rendering our fastpasses ineffective. No problems at all with the other parks. On a positive we have been given replacements however these are for dumbo etc
