Although it's a little hot, crowds are relatively light today, which is a nice welcome after not being in the park for nearly a month. Overall, a pretty good day.

Overheard on Main Street today:
Wife: "How much money did out bring?"
Husband: "Nowhere near enough."

I did reasonably well on BL today. Because Dave (A.K.A. DLH) isn't here I
was able to snatch the high score .

I was feeling a little grumpy in the afternoon. Chalk it up to jet lag (I'm a JL whimp) after my return from Chicago. However, things took a turn for the better when I ran into Ian, my favorite of the Fresh Baked crew, towards the entrance to Frontierland. It's the first time I've ever met him and he was very nice.

Then I trucked over to BL, but it was closed. Being an eternal optimist, I waited for a few moments. As a reward, I was the first person in line when it opened and earned my best score of the day! Just goes to show that if you're patient, things will often get better .

Air conditioned rides and stores and shade when and where I can find it/them . It's hot but I'm surviving.

So your overheard on Main Street reminded me of something I heard last week in AdventureLand. Two ladies were talking anout Indiana Jones ride when one said something about the big ball and the other said...we must have got another track because I didn't see that.

Funny story, I had never heard of Fresh Baked until D23. When we were in line to get our Fantasmic wristbands on Saturday, people kept yelling Fresh Baked at the people in front of us. Turns out we were right behind the Fresh Baked group (I learned after looking up what the heck they were talking about). You can see us a bunch in their vlog of that part of the day.

Define hot. I'm in Texas and it's currently 95 with a heat index of 101 and a high today of 98. "Hot" is a relative term, I've learned.

Depends on what professional game you're talking about. I prefer hockey, so that game floor isn't that hot.

I LOVE FRESH BAKED! It's how I stay up-to-date and get my Disney fix when we don't have a trip in the works.
