We had our first day in the parks today (Disneyland). We used our onsite hotel guest EE and accomplished so much in that first hour. Ether people don't know the rules have changed or they must aren't using it at DL....I'll find out tomorrow when we do CA.

It's really a great perk!

I couldn't believe how much we got done at DL during EE either. So much less crowded there in the am now that DCA is an option. Hope you have just as much luck tomorrow!

PS - I love your photo! I have a similar one of my girls hand in hand, wearing their ears heading towards the castle and it makes me happy every time I look at it :)

Sounds awesome! :D We will have an EE morning during our trip next week thanks to our park-hopper tickets, I can't wait!

Out of curiousity how many/which rides did you get in during the EE hour?

We had APEE on Sunday. We got there about 1/2 hour late and we rode ToT 2x, Soarin', and we stood in line for FP for RSR for a while before getting out of line. We got to GRR before the park opened. On Monday we had APEE at DL and we rode PP, Matterhorn, SM, ST, and BLAB. It was really awesome!

I believe this is due to blocked local AP's during the weekday (only Delux & Premium can attend AP EE right now) Weekends should be more of a crowd plus both days are good for CA if your a passholder & probably headed to Carsland. We will be staying @ VGC on Aug. 18th & as resort guests our park of CHOICE for EE will be CA for both weekend days & heading straight for RSR! We will join the AP crowd as they have no choice but we will! Our registered dates for AP EE's are this Friday the 20th for DL (have to wake up very early & drive 20 minutes away - hopefully it should be like a ghost town) then July 28th for CA. DELUX AP's are blocked on most Saturdays which is why I picked that date! My husband works all week & off on Fridays so there is no way to take advantage of the other 4 days into either parks even though you're only allowed 1 entry per park for the entire time it has been promoted. Thus the change to allow DLR guests this extra bonus into either parks for now. Once the block has been lifted for So Cal AP's you shall see more people during the weekday just before school starts. I think the EE Event has been better for DLR guest than AP holders but I will still take advantage of this as a fellow APer - having my cake and eating it too!! LOL!

At DL we tried to do Matterhorn but it was closed, so we did Nemo, PP, Pinnochio and mr. Toad. We had a 8 breakfast or could have done so much more!

Today at CA we did luigis with no wait, screamin, carousel, TSM and swings them got FP for RSR and got on in 10 minutes. Rode everything else minus TOT that I had on my list by 2pm and it was. A big list!

Congrats! Is this your first time to DL?

Make sure you do the following if it is:
See Billy Hill and the Hillbillies (gold team, elvis Billy, usually play thurs-Sun)
Ride the lilly belle
Eat at Steakhouse 55
Eat at Plaza Inn
Ride the Storybook Canal boats at night
Ride IASM at night
Did you see Aladdin stage show yet?

Thanks! We've done most of that and have one more day!

Today they had two sides at the entrance...one for APs and the other for hotel guests. Both were equally full and everyone ran to RSR but us :rotfl:

I have not been to the park in California. Orlando is just so much closer for me.

I'm betting you find everyone tomorrow, at Carsland.
;)
Glad to hear you were able to do so much at DL though, that's terrific!

DOH! Didn't realize I responded to a post several weeks old... Sorry.

HAHA...that's OK. And we did find everyone went to Cars Land the next day, however, we were still able to do Luigi's with no wait, get FP for RSR and ride at least three other things at Paradise Pier before 8! Well we got the FP right after 8, but already being in there helped :thumbsup2
