And it is crazy! We are here for SW run and my Ds birthday (4 as of 4/18/2012), otherwise we wouldn't be here.

First, we went to MK, prolly a poor choice, but we had 3 paper fastpasses to burn. 2nd, it is the last day of the swds run, and 3rd, it was a lovely breezy day that did help off the psycho.

All of this does not excuse all the overflowing trash cans and poor cms that looked like they would rather be anywhere else but their workplace. My husband even said that it was the dirtiest he's ever seen the parks! The trash can by the monorail was overflowing with rubbish alongside it, and some things ( like ketchup dispencers at pinnochio's) were empty.
Now, there were bright spots, like a cm who was running a popcorn cart giving my son a little cup filled with popcorn when we just asked for a cup. Or the nice folks at momento mori who were just plain kind. The boat driver (MK to Polynesian was very funny and nice). And even cms who couldn't do anything for us were nice, like the fp+ cms in tomorrowland and one of the cms at the peoplemover who was explaining to everyone that it was down. But when the bad ones were bad, they stood out!

But, yeah, it was pretty filthy today, and it must have been bad, cause I'm a total Disney apologist.

That is sad that it was that dirty. I have never seen it like that. Have they cut back on worker so much that they have no one to empty the trash cans and keep dispensers filled?

I was also at the MK today and didn't see any dirty areas of the park or overflowing trash. Other than the heavy rain on Wednesday night and a few showers Thursday the weather has been fabulous. We've has excellent luck with the buses and only positive CM interactions.

I was in Epcot all day and made a point to look for things out of order. The place looked pristine. Garbage emptied, restrooms clean and in good order. Had a fantastic day in the park.

Sorry! One too many trips in the TARDIS! It was the 17th.

It honestly was pretty messy. The day before was ok, but today was bad enough for DH to make mention of it. The garbage can as you leave the resort monorail was the real omg moment for us, the ketchup at Pinocchio was a surprise for him and there seemed to be a ho-hom attitude, like cms leaning around. Now, leaning might not be a big deal, but when I was a cm, leaning was a big deal!! (Weird, huh?) I even learned the "Disney lean" in Traditions.

I know, I know: I'm picky. But I guess I could see the cuts in staffing at work. I really went in as Pollyana, looking for good. And fp+ worked great for us, and there were pleasant cms. But it was different. We are going to DHS tomorrow for Ds birthday ( it's my old park, GMR for life!!!) So we will see. But it was odd at MK.
