WOW - Thank you so much! We are the the process of selling our DVC so we are planning a budget trip for the first time in a long time! This is so helpful! Thanks a million :earboy2:

According to the AAA website, there is a WDW package special going on right now that ends Jan. 31. It includes AAA parking pass, $25 Disney Dollars and some other perks. We are looking to book 8 nights in Coronado Springs with 7 day base tickets and the dining option. I only sent in my AAA membership check this week and do not have a # yet, so cannot get a quote. We're in the middle of this horrible snow storm right this minute, so it'll be until at least Monday till I can get to a AAA office.

Could you please show me where on the AAA website I can find this info, I am looking for info on the deluxe resorts. Thanks.

Most AAA websites have not updated their information and are still selling old tickets, but if you go to your local office they should have the new books. This is where I got all of this info and yes it has package prices for moderates and all others. Keep in mind that Disney has not released its new MYW tickets prices to AAA - they only have released room rates (or at least my local office claims to have not received them). Check aaasouth.com for really good prices. If you walk in you can get these prices even if you belong to another AAA (like I belong to ouraaa.com the AAA in the midwest).

Just so I understand, your prices for 4night/5day included: 4 nights at Value resort plus 5 day pass (not hopper, not non-expiring)? So two adults, one junior and one child could stay using that package for about $1300? Looking for next year, but this give me something to go by. Thanks for the info!

What exactly is the Junior rate? Is it valid? Is there a junior rate for the dining plan?
I got a booklet from AAA that had the junior rate, but the AAA agent said that it's a misprint. There's only adult rates and child rates. My sister in law said that her AAA agent told her that there are 3 rates adult/junior/child.

My agent gave me a new book - and I was told that all the prices in that book were accurate and I typed them above. Disney has had a junior rate your years on their packages. I guessing they will continue. :earboy2:

Usually, Juniors are kids over 9 who are charged adult ticket prices, but not the adult surcharge to stay in a room.

when you go to the AAA website it asks you to type in your zip code. You will then be directed to your region specific AAA site. Some parts of the country are entitled to different specials and packages than others. The Wisconsin web site has zip, zero, zilch for info on the website but going into the offices does produce better results.

I just got back from my local AAA office, which specializes in WDW vacations. After reading other posts about AAA discounts, I was disappointed in the price I was quoted for a pkg (mod. resort, 7 day hoppers and dining option - no airfare)
2 adults
8 nights Oct 15-23
Coronado Springs
7 day My Way hoppers
My Way dining option
$2288
The WDW quote was only $69 more. Others have said that they got prices $200 or lower than standard Disney pkg. rates! Of course, AAA perks include $25 Disney Dollars, AAA parking, AAA Lounge, and AAA shopping card, on top of the package, but I still thought I'd get a lower $. Hmmm, now I don't know what to do....
Oh and BTW, I was really suprised that CS had no double rooms available for our date, King was the only option. Can the WDW golf tournament the end of that week be taking THAT many rooms?

I am waiting for a packet from AAA. Really, $69 is the cost of AAA membership for one year! If my package only comes down $69 at least it would be like getting the membership free! LOL

I would be disappointed with a $69 savings, too. But the TA quotes I am getting are EQUAL to Disney's quote. THAT wasn't what I expected! We are hoping to go Oct. 7-15, and I am disappointed that it is "regular" season. We'll see what we can figure out!

I almost always find it costs less to book a room-only reservation with my AAA number and then buy tickets separately. You can always go back and apply codes to the reservation if any are published.

bquick - we only did the package because we really wanted the new dining option, and you can only get it if you book a package. Without and AP, AAA was the only discount I could find for my dates.

So you guys think it's worth signing on AAA to get the discount? I'm totally confused on the prices given on the OP of this thread. LOL Figures....

And even if it is worth it- think there's a chance of signing up fast enough to get in on the Jan special?

I just signed up today through AAA for my trip in June. I only got my membership yesterday so you don't have to wait before you book your package. My discount came out to over $300 which is worth the $56 the membership cost and I told my agent that I would be watching for future codes and she said that she would apply those whenever I got them. :teacher: I've never used them before, but I figure a 15% discount is better than no discount at all if I don't find any other codes. The only disappointment was that there were no discounted rooms left at the value resorts for our first night, but our rooms at POR for the rest of the week was discounted.
