Here comes that wall...

I need a little push please. I've had a *very* hard time getting myself up to do exercise the past couple of nights. Monday, I made-do with a "token amount" on the exercise bike and a few stretches done while playing with kitties. Last night, just played with kitties, my excuse being I had a bad day and was too tired.

I think I've hit that wall that usually marks the demise of my programs and would appreciate a little push to do something more tonight. Preferably the Tai Chi again. :)
 
It's not a wall, it's a starting gate! You've dropped back a bit but you're getting ready to sprint from here on out!

What's with the negative attitutde? That was then, you didn't have DIS then! What are you waiting for?

You have to remember how good you felt doing your Tai Chi!! Always remember the good of it!! When you feel yourself making excuses, realize you are doing it, and make a conscious effort to talk back to the little voice telling you not to!!

Hey, if I can exercise for 9 days in a row, and twice on Monday, I know you can do it tonight. Make a date with yourself, and keep it!

The wall is made of paper - crash right through it! Go Rajah!
 
Focus on what you know the right thing to do is, and then do it.

View excercise as something you simply do everyday. Just like brushing your teeth, eating lunch, etc. There is no decision to make, you just do it like you do all of your other daily activities. Its now a part of your lifestyle.

If you do what you've always done, you'll get the results you've always had. You said yourself that you recognize this kinda down attitude that you've got right now as the "demise" of your program. So. . .FIGHT IT! Get yourself moving! Do not allow yourself a single excuse because YOU KNOW WHAT RESULTS YOU WANT and you definitely know that not pushing yourself forward will result in feeling bad about yourself. You are strong enough to do this!

THANK YOU!!! I don't think I would have gotten up and done Tai Chi tonight if it weren't for y'all and my PM buddy. But because of y'all, I did. :) And remembered just how much I love Tai Chi. :) Why is it you can forget things like that in just 2 or 3 days?
 
Heck, if the conditions are right, I can forget why I'm trying to lead a healthier life in just a few minutes!:rolleyes: Glad you got up and did that Tai Chi!
 
Good for you!

Glad you got up off the sofa and decided to work out! There are days I just don't feel like doing anything, but once I get started I feel great pretty quickly and I'm so glad I did it! So just try to remember how good you feel during/after a workout! :)

I'll make a deal with you - and I need this as much as you do, so don't let me down!

I didn't feel like exercising two days ago, and I didn't feel like exercising yesterday, although I did, both days.

Today I'm REALLY having a hard time finding the motivation - so I think you must have posted this just for me! You're just the inspiration I need!!!:Pinkbounc

If you'll promise to do a Tai Chi workout again today, I promise to do all four miles of my WATP today (PLEASE say yes!!! :teeth: I need the boost!)

You can do it! Look at all the AWESOME changes you've been making - and think of how good you felt yesterday! And just think, you can help a fellow WISHer, too!!! :p
