I thought I would share a few things for anyone that might be going to Disneyland soon.

Halloween Party - We went tonight. It started at 6:30 and was in California Adventure. There were plenty of trick-or-treat stations throughout the park. They give each person a plastic trick-or-treat bag at the entrance. There are also plenty of characters for pictures. The rides had very short lines.

Jedi Training - We took our son, a nephew, and two nieces. One of the nieces did not want to be picked. The other three did. We got them seats up front and the three that wanted to be chosen were all picked. It was great!

Nemo - We went to early entry on Tues. We were near the front of the rope drop area when the park opened. They told people to go around the left side of the Mattorhorn to get in line for Nemo. There were actually people running. We did a sort of jog there. We were on one of the first subs. I would recommend going to early entry and heading straight for Nemo if you want to ride it. That is the only way you will ride it without a huge wait.

If anyone has any questions about anything, I would be glad to answer them.

Was it super crowded during the day? Taking DD (4) tomorrow. Were planning on just doing DL. How long were the lines? Do you think we should add a park hopper to do DCA? (only b/c historically it's pretty dead there).

Hi. I sent you a PM. I wanted to add that we always get the hopper because our son (12) loves CA Adventure. There are also a lot of things for little ones to do. My 4 yr old grandson had a great time at both parks when I took him a few months ago. However, if this is you first time at Disneyland, then you can easily spend all day and still not do everything there.

The crowds were less than spring break and summer, but more than the slow times. The wait times were not bad at all when we first arrived at the parks all week. Each day seems to be more crowded than the next one. The wait times were 10 - 15 minutes for Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Splash, Thunder, Matterhorn. But the wait times for Splash, Space and Thunder increased later in the day. Indiana Jones and Tom Sawyer's Island have been closed all week. Peter Pan had a 30 min wait. My advice is to go early.

Have a wonderful time! We will be there tomorrow too.
