Hercules leaving Magic after April 9th

Aww nuts!!! We're leaving in less than 3 weeks but that's not fast enough to see Hercules! Who the heck are the Bumblesquats.

NEW SHOW DEBUTING ON THE MAGIC

Guests on the May 14th voyage to the West Coast will be the first to see "Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story." The debut is scheduled for May 25.

This new show is based on what occurs following the wedding of Cinderella and Prince Charming. Cinderella's evil stepmother and stepsisters are determined to undo the charm of the glass slippers. They summon the assistance of the evil Fairy Godfather of Lady Tremaine. Mayhem ensues as this wicked quartet attempts to undermine the course of true love.

There will be two classic songs from Cinderella performed and six brand new original songs.

"Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story" replaces "Hercules the Muse-ical" which will have its final performance on the Magic during the April 9 voyage. (Hercules will continue to be performed on the Wonder.)

On the April 16 and 23rd voyages of the Magic, the Bumblesquats will perform.On the April 30th voyage, Magician Mike Super will be added to the evening's lineup of entertainment. On May 7th, guests will see the juggling team of Wilde and Haines.

Although we enjoyed it 3 times, it is good to see another new show coming in. I have seen a number of posts over the years that mention the repeat shows as a problem, it even seems to keep a few people from re-booking.

Well, I've got a while before I see it. It sounds fun.

Mike Super is great. We saw his adult cabaret show and the farewell show in which he participated on the 3/19 Magic and really enjoyed both. We still have no idea how he did his tricks, if we had known he was that good we would have taken the kids to the family show.

Is Herc staying on the Wonder? I know my family will really enjoyy it1 i hope it will be there in August!

So far there is no plan to stop Herc on the Wonder.

I wish we could have the magician on the 4/23 instead of the Bumblesquats. My son is in a big magic phase now. We also liked Herc but are glad they are changing the entertainment for the frequent cruisers.

YES!!!! The magician is on the cruise we are going on!! I really disliked that Hecules show so I am not going to miss that one one bit!! I thought I would give it another try last cruise and I fell asleep during it!

Do you think there is any chance they will revive hercules for the 14 night cruises? It is our families favorite show, we are going to miss it.

Out of the three shows, it was our least favorite also. We were happy to hear that there will be something new to watch.

If a new cast debuts with the new show, it would be impractical to have Herc on the 14 day cruise. The may have needed a few weeks to remove the Herc sets and add the new shows sets, so again, it would be impractical to have Herc on the 14 day cruise.

It would be nice, but I don't see much chance.

Has anyone ever seen the Bumblesquats? Would have loved the magician too. We saw Rich Purpura (sp?) on our last cruise and he was great.

We loved Hercules. The kids really like the Hades and Mercury characters, they were so funny. It was probably better than the original cartoon. Oh well, I'm sure the new show will be fun too.

We were just on the Magic last week and like others have said...Mike the magician was GREAT!!!! We all loved him and went to another one of his shows. It was standing room only but they put it on the tvs in Diversions so there was more room. Have a great time.
