Ok, I've been buried under my teaching job for the last 9 months and I'm finally adding a new crop body to my bag. But I'm so far out of the loop that I'm torn on what I want. So spec nit pickers, break it down and tell me what you think.

First.. what I have: I have the 6D for when I need high ISO performance. I've got a nice selection of lenses with some high quality glass in there. I love my 6D and the AF system meets MY needs. But I need a second body in my bag since I sold my 50D.

Second... what I want: A solid second body to use my EF-S lenses I still have and love on. A body to put in my husband's hands when he wants to take pictures so I stop griping about the poor quality from his phone. So it needs a better AF system than I do since I manually focus 80% of the time. A solid video contender. I know, I bemoaned video in a DSLR when it came out. But times change and I have all these amazing lenses and the lack of AF during video on the 6D hampers it's use in that regard. The hubs is also a big video shooter and out "pro" camcorder is now a 10 year old antique. I'd like solid (for a crop) ISO performance up to ISO 6400. And obviously I'm sticking with Canon.

What's not so important: super fast burst rate

I'm looking at the 7DmkII and the 70D. I also considered the T6i but the ISO samples I've seen from it are just a little on the noisy side. However, if I'm missing on the performance of it and it shines in a given area, speak up.

Now given all that, what would you do and why? I've read reviews. I know which way I'm leaning. But I need other voices to sound off and I know we have some members here who are serious about breaking down the specs and not shy about giving opinions.
