Hi all,

For my hen night at WDW I would like to spend the afternoon with my mum, MIL2B, and bridesmaids getting spa treatments, then onto PI and the Adventurer's Club fof the evening.

I wondered if anyone has done any group Spa time and which particular spa you would recommend? I've heard good reviews of the one at the Dolphin but not much about SSR or Grand Floridian.princess:

We used the spa at SSR for a couple's massage package and mani/pedi during our last Disney trip. It was wonderful, although incredibly expensive. I thought the massage was amazing, and the mani/pedis were pretty good, but probably not worth over $100. We're going with the GF spa for the day before our wedding (couple's instructional massage and mani/pedis) as a treat for ourselves. For a group that large, though, you're looking a lot of $$$. If you have a car, you might want to consider going outside the park. Or you could use one of the other salons (a lot of girls on here have used Perriwegs) just to have nails done.

Thanks for the info.

Was the $100 for the both of you in total for both treatments? In context with UK prices we pay approximately $60 (at current exchange rates) for a massage at my local beauty salon (not a spa) and $30 for a manicure, so anything around that price or less for a treatment would seem reasonable to me!

Hi,

I'm doing this with a few of the girls and we are drawn to the Dolphin because of the package they do. If I remember correctly it was 5 hours with various treatments for about $500 each.

My friend saw the SSR one too but I don't know many of the details. I did read a bad reveiw about the Dolphin one, it was very impersonal and the staff not too nice.

They have a spa at the Gaylord Palms which isn't far away but I haven't looked into that one yet. The prices might be better than Disney.

We got spa manicures and spa pedicures at the Mandara Spa before the wedding. The pedicure was the best I've ever had. It was around $70. The manicures felt great, but I couldn't find a color I liked. It was around $45.
They also did a shampoo/deep condition/ blow dry and flat iron for just me and it was the absolute best anyone has ever done for my hair! That was about $100.

We got 20% off for mentioning www.intercot.com. I don't know if they still honor that, but you can try.

THe only thing I didn't like, was that they could only do four manicures at a time and three pedicures at a time and they were in rooms that didn't have visual contact. There were 6 of us, so while three of us got pedicures in one area, we couldn't talk to the three getting manicures! But it really was a beautiful spa!

We had manicures, pedicures and massages at the Rosen Centre on I-Drive. Perriwigs is good too at the Yacht Club, they did our wedding hair.:cool1:

we are going for mani's and peid's the day before the wedding at the grand, with annual passes you get discounts there

Thanks guys :)

Orangetiggs - would it just be me who got the discount or could I get a discount for the others too?

it says 10% for passholder only but you could see what they say

Thanks :)

We're going to get DDE so DF and I can afford to pay for a meal for the whole group of us the night before!!

we got the dde when we went in feb for our planning session trip and it saved us loads just in 7 days.

we are hoping to use it alot when we go in aug for the wedding!

Just noticed my ticker 3 months
