HELPPPPP! MS ringing for 1 HOUR---Should I hang up?

I got through when it was open.

Pressed 1

Pressed 1 again & now it's just ringing & ringing.


Am I better off waiting for someone to answer?
Am I in line to be answered or am I off in Never Never Land?


Should I hang up & try again? It's been terrible getting through for the last few days. I am afraid I'll never get through if I call back, that I'll get a busy signal. I wish I had another phone line I could use, but I'm stuck in my classroom & final exams will be starting in an hour.

The MS phones have been a mess for the last week or so. I have no idea if you should hang up, I probably would call again. I got a busy signal for 3 hours or so last Saturday.

That happened to me the first day they opened up booking at AKV. I let it ring for 40 minutes before they answered. Then it took nearly 30 minutes to book because their computers were so slow.

I gave up after an 1 hr & 15 min.

I called back several times before getting through & then actually was put on hold w/ music & knowledge of the wait time approx 15 minutes.

I got 2 of the 4 nights I was looking for, now I just have to hope the waitlists come through b/c the other two nights I booked thru CRO & there's very little discount for AP at Deluxe resorts.

I was planning a last minute trip. SW has $69 each way to FL tickets that were calling my name. We were willing to take ANY DVC resort for Feb 6-10. The problem was that there were no DVC rooms using points or cash thru DVC rooms for Thurs night. I didn't imagine it would be so crazy in early Feb, but apparently there are several conventions, New Orleans people coming to WDW to escape Mardi Gras, etc.

Still hoping something will come through on the waitlist so we can do all 4 nights on points. My 1st 2 nights are in a studio BWV & we're paying close to rack on what they're calling an AP discount. I have a 1 bedroom at BWV for the next 2 nights. But since I've got my APs already and we're paying so little for airfare, I figure I shouldn't complain for doing this 3 weeks out.
