Here is an idea that I got from my current PassPorter guide book. I just carried it just a few steps further. This is really for younger children and is used to help get them more excited then usual about going to Disney, as if thats really necessary! I really had fun doing it myself!
Our young grandson is going to Disney during MNSSHP next month. So I created four special letters from Pluto, Goofy, Tigger and Mickey that I would send to him, looking as if they, that character, had sent them to him. I designed a special letter head for each character using a graphics program. I then wrote a simple letter, from the desk of that character, to my grandson. I looked for what I felt were the right clipart image to use on the letter just as decoration. I then found several of my DD autograph books, and searched through them looking for a good signature from that character. I then scanned that signature and placed it on the letter. Each letter plays on the last letter talking about flying, eating at CP, having their pictures made together, etc. The last letter is from Mickey himself inviting our grandson to come and visit him and having their picture made together. I plan on mailing each letter about a week apart starting next week. I know his parents will figure out where they came from, but I felt it would be fun for him to have and look back at later on.
I hope this idea cand be of some use to anybody out there with young children.
