I printed out Shirley's helpful information and took it with me on our recent visit! We stayed in Port Canaveral the night before our sailing and a lot of her information came in very handy. And it was great to have for "just in case"! So, make sure you print off the first page and take it with you!!

You know I have been in a strange town with a bunch of kids, pets, luggage, broken down car and I would have given somebody ANYBODY hugssssssssss to have had this type of information so at least I would know where I was, who I could call for just in case and most of all not have the urge to choke my kids when they were pounded me with "ok mom what are you going to do and are you sure you know what you are doing ;-) and when will be there cause I have to be to my friend's house for a party on and on and on.
Because of those that designed this website, all the advertisers and all the staffs deserve a HUGE thanks.

They also have a location at 100 Grinnell Street, but if you will call them, they will pick you up and deliver you back to the ship when you are finished - I spoke to Howard and Raynata - super nice folks that have been there for sometime. They have 2, 4, 5, and 8 passengers electric cars. You know usually I do not really recommend anyone or anything unless I know a little something about someone or someplace etc, but I really found these folks to be very sincere - please mention you are from the Disboard or my name and you will receive a nice discount for your rental. If you have any problems or any questions, you will be able to depend on Howard and Renata to help you. Sounds like a great plan to me ;-) so now you have a safe zone here in Cape Canaveral and one in Key West.

Now I will have to do a lot of changes, but each of you can help.

Thank you Shriley. We leave in 1 week. And are spending 2.5 days in Cocoa Beach bf our cruise. I needed to print this out!!!! Now I don't have to go searching. One ? for you what restaurant do you recommend on the beach that is familly friendly. There will be 7 kids in our group.

There are two that I recommend very highly - first one is Zackery's which is in Cape Canaveral - now this is just a mom and pop restaurant, but Dina and Zack do have great food and take extra effort with children. This is a very casual setting. You also can try Grills in Port Canaveral which is very popular and they have a coupon on their website or you can show them your hotel key for the discount - there at Grills you are right on the water - also at Cocoa Beach Pier (which is my favorite) the Atlantic Grill which sits right over the Atlantic Ocean - ask for Theresa who has been there for a number of years - she is the hostess. Tell her Shirley from TPG recommend you to her.
If you will check out the helpful information, you will see numberous of restaurants that will and can accomodate children without any problem.

Hi! Quick question: Are there any kid friendly (i.e. they sell chicken nuggets) restaurants, other than fast food, really really close to the Country Inns and suites? Like on the same road? within a mile? lol. I am getting into the port really late the night of my cruise and we may be hungry when we get there.

I get lost very easily, and the closer to the hotel the better!
