I am trying to make a reservation for my March cruise with Art's Shuttles. I want a private transfer in a mini van. The lady there is telling me that they will not take reservations for march until January and will not take my reservation. Other shuttle companies are taking reservations right now. Does this sound right?

I am bumping this is since so many don't realize that Mary was kind enough to put this in the FAQ as a sticky under Misc. information and I am receiving a number of emails with a number of questions and most of the answers or what I feel may help while here, are listed there.
Believe me I do NOT mind answering your questions or help anytime you need it, but sometimes I don't have the information right in front of me and it makes it easier for you to go through this thread. I know its so long and could get mind bogging, but at least you have somewhere to go and someone here to help you

Hello Tammy,
I thought its was best to answer you through this way instead of answering the email - Both Art's Shuttles and Space Coast Shuttles are really the only big shuttles we have here in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral and they are all on overload and I am sure they are concerns about taking a reservation that early and then something may happen and it gets lost and not only will there be an upset customer, but they would be awfully upset also - I will call Judy sometime today and find out the reasons and the sense behind it and will post it so that others can have that information also.
Also to those that wrote me about Thanksgiving and opened restaurants, I made a number of calls yesterday and even though I was told it was a little to early to give a nail to the cross answer, most likely they will be home with their families and the staff also and not open regardless of the lost business.

I did make a reservation, with another company but will reconfirm closer to the date. I just thought that they should realize the obsessive planners, (ahem, here), might not wait until closer to the date because, as with ADRs, we love to have that little detail taken care of as soon as possible.

Hertz is now located in front of the Residence Inn and is the first in line of the rental cars, second is Budget, third is Thrifty accross the street is Avis and then Enterprise and all of these are in Cape Canaveral.

Is national not an option, there is a location in coaco beach but would that be a taxi not a shuttle?

You would have to take another type of transportation to the port or hotel since National does not offer a shuttle. I believe that is what you are asking me?

Oh yes right but then I do this for those visitors that come here as a stranger and will have some insight as to what is here, what to do, where to go, places to see here and on the islands, but most of all know they have friends here that stretch open arms without any strings attached.

I am enclosing an email I received from the COC and kinda chucked since they may not realize that just maybe somehow posting the information I do, here and Key West could have helped in raising their numbers.

I am now starting stuff on Key West, but will take a while since I intend to share some history with you so when you get into Cayo Hueso, you really will be up on a lot of good stuff -------one of the FIRST THINGS YOU will learn is that it is pronounced KONK (conch) not conshs, Konch, etc -
