Helpful Family Quirks

Not big on parades - we saw Spectromagic once and we are happy. No wet rides - DS can't stand being splashed at (just gets him upset), and I can live without them so we skip those rides. ToT and RnRC were dropped too. I might try the coaster next time tho, and he is thinking of coming with me, but he didn't like Space Mountain, which I thought was cool. We didn't make it to Everest, but will try next time.
We saw a couple of shows, but those we aren't big on either, so we can go through pretty fast without even trying to hurry.
I think as he gets older, he'll get on more of the rides...just as I get older and less able to handle them! The parades are boring for us, and some of the shows. We ride during the parades...it was pretty funny, we were in Fantasyland just before the afternoon parade, and about 1/2 before the parade, a wave of people were heading for Main Street. It was great! Walk-on rides. The lines were pretty short or non-existent the whole time we were there, but this was nice!
May need to go to some shows next time, since we may bring MIL. If she would like to see them then we will go.
Forgot to add, we aren't big on characters either. We are very particular about what we do, and we do those things and soak up the ambience. Just being there is magical and I was so happy the whole time we were there !

Don't get me wrong, I do go on it with my DD's & I find it fun & entertaining. We continue to sing the song for hours after riding, I just don't enjoy getting wet.

Plus, my stomach usually ends up in my throat after going down the big drop. You should see some of "great" photos we have.
