That’s your call. For me it’s convenience, of hopefully not having to switch rooms, which always takes longer than expected.

I would prefer to not change rooms, but I’m thinking about what the chances would be for me to book a one night package and then have to wait to tack on 2 days at the same hotel with the same room category. That’s the hassle I was thinking about. From what little I know it seems very hard to get the room only reservations. Is there something I’m not considering?

Maybe book an easier to find hotel room, like at DLH or Ambassador. Those seem to have most availability.
