We just decided to extend our trip and I cant extend my room at GCV (extra nights not avail). We can get rooms at Hilton Anaheim, Sheraton Anaheim or Marriott Fairfield Anaheim. I know nothing about these hotels.:confused3
Can someone give me the good/bad?how close to parks? how did you like...etc??
While we have been to WDW veterans-this is our 1st venture to DL and I am getting overwhelmed!!

Thanks so much!!:)

I have stayed at FFI - Close to park, clean rooms. It will be a big differnce from GCV, but it is a decent place to stay. The closest to walk from out of the ones you have listed.

I can give you some distance information: :goodvibes

Yes, the Fairfield is the closest. I guess it's about an 8-minute walk.
G-Map for the Fairfield: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?cent...e={ijmEn`vnU?uCm@gACcIDSFQD]A}@AkAeKKOiEQY?}@
G-Map for Sheraton Anaheim: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?cent...nAgBVKv@Ot@e@Vm@J_@Vm@TI^_@No@MiAKuAMeA]gASwD

Here is a web-site that has a decent map of the hotels/motels: http://www.accommodationsneardisney.com/Disneyland/default.asp

Wikimapia has a 'distance measure' feature:

Fairfield Inn (about an 8 minute walk) http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=33.8112727&lon=-117.913827&z=20&l=0&m=b

Hilton Anaheim (about a 15 minute walk) http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=33.8006607&lon=-117.9184149&z=19&l=0&m=b

Sheraton Anaheim (at least a mile away) http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=33.8192785&lon=-117.9214538&z=18&l=0&m=b

HTH :earsboy:

i have stayed at all 3 and like all of them for different reasons...

I like the Hilton because they are so nice and the place itself is awesome...they have their own food court with Sbarra (which I love) and of course Starbucks:thumbsup2...the rooms are very very nice and they recently renovated their pool too

I absolutely love Sheraton Anaheim...its a GORGEOUS hotel ...farther than the other 2 but they have their own designated shuttle(free) that runs every half hour...the rooms are AWESOME and the beds are to die for ..especially after being at the park all day....

Fairfield is decent and it is the closest of the 3...right smack dab in between Mimi's and McDonalds (cant beat that)....clean rooms but a little on the noisy side...still a good bargain price wise

thx so much!

I've stayed at the FFI twice and will be staying there again this June. The only drawback is that it can be quite noisy, especially in the lower level rooms facing the parking lot/park. This is due to the hallways being on the outside of the building. So, if you're a light sleeper try to get an upper level room. The location is great though, easy to grab food at Mickey D's (late night sundaes, quick breakfast, their grilled chicken salads are not too unhealthy, etc..). There is also a small convenience store right around the corner that has reasonable prices for pop/candy, etc.. for the kids - handy to stop in on the walk back from the park.

I found the staff to be great last time we stayed there, went out of their way to help me out a few times.
