I promised myself that we'd never have another "at home" party for our DD when she was 8. So far so good . . . this year for her 9th was ringoing at the local ski-centre (but, boy, did that make 'em all hyper) - haven't agreed on next years, but the dreaded words "disco party" keep cropping up NO WAY, JOSE

Well I know 'Mrs.G.' deserves the drink but I'm not so sure our Tim deserves all this sympathy ! It turns out that he escaped to the DIY store in the middle of it all, leaving 'Mrs G' to cope!! Now Mrs G is more than capable I'm sure but I think 'Mr.G.' is milking the sympathy vote somewhat
