Long story short can't figure out which weekend to go.. Turkey Day and Black Friday or Dec 3 & 4.... please help

My DH and I are going the dec. 2 - 5 at the recommendation of friends of ours who have been going that week for YEARS. They say it's the best time because all of the holiday stuff is up, but since so many people travel the week of Thanksgiving, there are lighter crowds at DL the week after. Hope they're right

Isn't the Candlelight Processional or whatever it's called held on the first weekend of Dec?
It's gonna be PACKED from what I've read on here on the DIS boards.
I've also read that Thanksgiving isn't as busy as most people think.

I wonder what Friday the 3rd will be like.... I believe CP is on Saturday and Sunday.

We went last year on Tgiving and the Friday-Monday after. It was great, at least Tgiving and Friday were. Crowds started to come back over the weekend but Thurs & Fri were pretty much awesome. That said I would probably go with the Dec dates instead.
