We are regulars at DL, but I'm currently planning a WDW trip for Jan. 2010. Likely at the GF. We LOVE character meals and will do plenty of those - usually breakfast and dinner. Regardless, we always do 3 sit down meals a day. At DL, the dining plan isn't so great and so we've not done it. WDW is a whole other world and I need help and advice! We'll be there 7-8 days and I'm not sure about restaurants in general at WDW. What would you experts recommend as a great dining plan for us? Our daughter will be 5 years old during the trip. We don't do counter service restaurants for our meals. Daughter is very picky, so your standard kid friendly items are a must for menus as well.

Any ideas and advice are very much appreciated!
Thanks

Yes- actually the Deluxe and above is exactly what I was thinking - but without knowing the restaurants or quality at all, I wasn't quite sure if that would be a good option for us.

Thanks for the link & your reply, I'll be reading all night long!!! Hopefully I'll get the hang of WDW soon!

Because your question is not about the dining plan - it is about the quality of the restaurants - I am moving it to the regular restaurant board.

Actually - it is about the Dining Plan as well since I don't understand it at all, but I'm perfectly fine with you moving it. I just wanted more to share our preferences to see if using a Dining Plan would be a good thing to do or not.

Thanks
Shawna
