Should I be worried or is this common we are booked to fly to Orlando on Friday with TC & we still have no tickets they phoned this morning & said not to worry as they hope to have them by Tuesday & will send them to us recorded delivery but if they are later than Tuesday we will have to go to airport without them & be issued with tickets there !:scared: :scared: The reason we cant collect them later than that is we are both working DH & myself right up till Thursday at 5 and we are an hour & 15 minutes from TC shop.
I am worried we are going to turn up at airport & they will say no ticket no flight as the seats have been double booked, we are on a flight only as we have DVC. My DSIL booked her holiday week after us & flies 8 days after us & has had tickets for more than a fortnight TC say this is because they booked accomodation aswell:confused3 does that mean you are thought of as less important because you booked only flights or what sorry to go on but I am a born worrier anyway & have lists for everything and as I have no control over this part of the holiday am totally freekin out .:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
By the way booked these flights 11mths ago !:headache:
 
Thomas Cook say still no tickets, so we have to go to airport without them & hope everything will be ok, they have posted a letter with all our details so i am hoping for the best as we fly on Friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:
 
Im sure someone had a similar problem recently but can't remember what TA it was!! Im sure the advice was to go down to the TA shop and pretty much demand that the tickets be sent on a next day courier (not recorded delivery but a courier) to your house / place of work as it's not acceptable and you will worry about it.

Tried all of the above stamped my feet been to TA no joy ! so we have no choice but to go to airport & hope all is ok !!!!!!!!!!!Asked for them to be sent by courier was told that as they have no tickets there is nothing to give the courier to deliver !

Similar happened to us last year with Virgin, we got to the airport, went to the Virgin info desk, and they had all our stuff waiting for us :)

I used to work in a travel agent (many years ago) and although it's frustrating not having a ticket in your hand you will be fine.

As long as you have detials of your booking reference TC will be able to fetch all the details up on their screen at the airport.

It's amazing how everything is now linked to just a ref no. I booked my flights to Spain with Monach this year and just took an email with the reference no. went to the check in desk and we were issued with boarding cards.
