If I transfer points to someone can they bank them?

I want to say yes because you can only transfer current UY points. But after you asked I am second guessing myself... Especially after the above post said a flat out no....

The rule is that banked points cannot be transferred but transferred points can be banked, so the answer is "yes". The only part I'm not sure about is the banking deadline. I've read posts here where people were able to bank transferred points past the normal banking deadline for those points. Others have reported that you cannot bank them past their original banking deadline.
